its been a minute
probably too long
but sometimes you need to take a step away so you can come back refreshed
riding on airplanes
seeing old smiles
embracing hugs and kisses
handshakes and pats on the back
we cant forget where we came from
eventhough sometimes we might rather do so
those same people you forget about
are the ones who remember who you were
with braces and awkward gaits
come home and order a sub from wawa
breath in the cold air
wear that beanie from high school
look at the one who got away
and be happy they are happy with another
fly away to somewhere new
cuz somewhere new is always better
something different is always better
